To help the community rediscover all there is to do in Glenroy, Moreland City Council approached Evolution to create an online directory and general hub for all things Glenroy. Being our 8th trader precinct website, we knew how to approach the project from both a time management and trader involvement aspect.
The aim for the new Enjoy Glenroy website was to not only bring locals out and get them involved but to also encourage the traders to feed the community with more value and heart.
Coming to us with a vibrant and approachable brand, Moreland City Council’s tasked Evolution with designing and developing a trader directory website to bring everyone together.
Beginning with a strong colour palate, we set about designing a vibrant website that matched the enthusiasm of the locals and traders. The site needed to be welcoming and clear in its display of information to cater for the multicultural and elderly demographic.
We developed a website were traders can register as members and create a business listing, with all their details, for potential visitors to look through and find information easily. The site also features details about the surrounding area and stories from long time locals and traders. During development of the website, we also provided the Council with a photography brief to allow their photographer to capture the right shots for the site.
Evolution wanted to create a site that was both appealing to visitors and business owners alike, to encourage community engagement.
